Essential Europe

About Lucerne

Rome, Florence, Venice, Lucerne, Paris, and London—these exciting and vibrant cities await you on this thrilling European tour. Guided sightseeing tours will highlight the must-see attractions in each city, including the Vatican Museums and Sistine Chapel in Rome; the Academy of Fine Arts in Florence, where you will see Michelangelo’s famous David; the Chapel Bridge in Lucerne, dating back to the 14th century; the Eiffel Tower in Paris, where you’ll ascend to the second floor for great views of Paris; and St. Paul’s Cathedral in London, which held its first service in 1697 and was the marriage site for Lady Diana and Prince Charles.

Other highlights of this European tour include a stop in Bellinzona, Switzerland, where you will ride the elevator to the courtyard of Castelgrande, part of the fortifications dating back to the Middle Ages and today a UNESCO World Heritage Site. You’ll also enjoy a pizza party in Florence, a pasta dinner in Venice with a private water-taxi ride through the Grand Canal, chocolate pralines from one of Switzerland’s most famous chocolate makers, and a thrilling ride on the Eurostar train from Paris to London.

But that’s not all…throughout this European vacation, Globus has arranged VIP access for you. That means that rather than waiting in long lines to see the amazing Colosseum in Rome or to ascend the Eiffel Tower in Paris, we’ve worked hard behind-the-scenes to minimize the lines and wait times, so you can maximize the fun. It’s a trip of a lifetime!
